Two compounds were isolated from the dried stems and leaves of Menispermum dauricum DC. which from Taibai mountain. One of them has new skeleton and its structure was elucidated as FIG. and another was established as sinomenine using spectrometry and chemical methods, as well as comparison with references.Futhermore, it was found that the stems and leaves of Menispermum dauricum DC. contain alkaloids, coumarins , terpenes, flavonoids, anthraquinones ,tannins and so on by preliminary study.
