According to the molecular genetics, tumor is regarded as a kind of disease involving gene or DNA, and ensues from mutative somatic cells, which are caused by some chromosomal DNA damages, so far multiple genes which are concerned with occurrence and development in gastric cancer have been detected, whereas clinic estimation in gastric prognosis principally depended on the PTNM stage. Prognosis in early gastric cancer is better, comparatively is imperfect in progressive gastric cancer, so it is restricted with the choice of the reasonable therapeutic projects in the terminal patients which have lost the opportunity of operations. Therefore it is essential that we establish the valid measures to estimate the clinic stage, at the same time explore the correlation in genic expression and clinic pathological characters, intensify the comprehension to cellular biological behavior, so the more reliable information about prognosis is offered in gastric cancer. It is well-known that multiple oncogene and tumor-suppressor genes are involved with occurrence and development in gastric cancer. The former research chiefly is aimed at the connection between single gene and gastric cancer, but the reports are rare in the connection between two genes and gastric cancer, our study is involved with two genes. The nm23 gene was first found in murine melanoma cell, nm23...
