Datura is dry flower of Datura Metel L. It belongs to the family of Solanaceae. It has been used as folk herbal drug for a long time in China. It has high bioactivities and wide utilization. The injection of Datura has been used for the treatment of psoriasis these years and it showed an excellent curative effect. This method has such advantages as high cure rate, low relapse rate and so on. The dissertation gives systemic studies on the chemical constituents in effective part of treatment psoriasis. It has been extracted, isolated and identified on the base of the determination of effective part by the methods of pharmacodynamics. By ion exchange resin, adsorption resin and column chromatography with silica-gel and ODS, nine compounds(l~9) were isolated from the effective part of treatment psoriasis. On the basis of chemical and spectral analysis, the structures of 4 compounds were identified as: Atropine, Kaempferol, 3-0- ?-D-glucopyranosyl (1 ?2) - & -D-glucopyranosyl-Kaempferol and 3-0- ?-D-glucopyranosyl (1?) - ?-D-glucopyranosyl.7-0- a -L-rhamnopyranosyl-Kaempferol. Two Flavonoid glycosides were isolated from Datura for the first time. The result provides important scientific foundations and material bases for further research on bioactivities, pharmacological action theory, preparation and development of new drug for treatment of psoriasis.
