In recent years, a large amount of research has indicated that free radical is involved in many pathologies such as inflammation , damage of ischemia梤eperfusion, tumor and cardiovascular system disease, and that the occurring and development of aging is closely related to free radical. The field of sports medicine both home and abroad has been actively engaged in the research of sports and metabolism of free radical. The research shows that after taking up high tense of sports, the damage of such organs as heart, liver and kidney, and minute structure of tissue and the functional decline and fatigue have something to do with the damage of free radical , and that physical exercises for a long term and taking Chinese medicine after sports have a good effect to help organismto fight against the damage of free radical.Astragalus Mongholicus Bunge is the precious Chinese Medicine. It has strong regional character. Among all the places, Inner-Mongolia, Shanxi and Heilongjiang produce the best Astragalus Mongholicus Bunge. Since it can build the kidney, strengthen the heart and improve immunity, it has been ranked as one of the best medicines in China. The research in recent years has shown that Astragalus Mongholicus Bunge can postpone the time of aging and has strong effect in anti-oxidation. Therefore based on such effect, the author designed the experiment so as to provide theoretical grounds to research and confirm the effect of Astragalus Mongholicus Bunge in restraining the free radical.In doing the research the author divided the animal in the experiment into 10 groups of quiet group, quiet group with medicine, pausing instant group, pausing instant with medicine group, pausing for three hours group, pausing for three hours with medicine, perseverance instant group, perseverance instant group with medicine, persevering for three hours group and persevering for three hours with medicine. The experiments covered three contents. The first content of the experiment is to weigh the rat in each group once a week; it turned out that the weight of quiet group and the quietgroup with medicine increase with the increase in feeding time. Compared with the two groups, the exercising groups and the exercising groups with medicine has a slow trend in increasing the weight, and the exercising groups with medicine are especially obvious.The second content of the experiment is to test the myocardium of rat with the criteria of SOD, MDA and CAT. The test indicates that when compared with the quiet group, the quiet group with medicine the SOD and CAT activity of quiet group with medicine increase while MDA decreases. When compared with the exercising groups, the exercising groups with medicine have a higher SOD and CAT activity, but a lower MDA. The experiment fully shows that Astragalus Mongholicus Bunge has a every good effect in anti-oxidation.The third content of the experiment is to conduct transmission electron microscope observation on myocardium. When compared with the quiet groups, in the exercising groups, especially the pausing instant group, the myocardium tissue of rat is damaged to some extent, hut the exercising groups with medicine has a lower damage rate in myocard i um ti ssue than the exerc i sing groups without medicine. These structural changes fit the statistics from histochemistry test, so it proves histomorphology that Astragalus Mongholicus Bunge has a very good effect in anti-oxidation.From wliat has been mentioned above, it can be conclude that Astragalus Mongholicus Bunge has a very good effect in anti-oxidation. And it can strengthen the heart activaty, which has a positive effect on improving human health, getting rid of the fatigue, improving the heart of the athletes and thus improving the athletes' performance. Meanwhile, it provides wide prospect in eliminating the fatigue and improving the athletes' ability.
