The Expression Of P16 And Nm23-H1 Genes Protein In Bladder Carcinoma And Clinical Significance

objective: To study the expression and clinical significance of P16 and nm23-H1 in human bladder carcinoma.Methods: Immounohistochemistry method (S-P) was used to detect p16 and nm23-H1 expression in 18 noncancerous normal bladder tissues and primary bladder carcinoma.Results: The positive expression rate of p16 in normal bladder tissues primary bladder carcinoma tissues was 88.8% 44.7% , respectively with significant difference (P<0.01). The positive expression rate of nm23-H, in normal bladder tissues and primary bladder carcinoma tissues was 83.5% 44.7% , respectively with significant difference (P<0.01). The positive expression rate of P16 and nm23-H1 were closely correlated with pothologyical grades Clincopa-thological stages tumor size and metastasis.Conclusion: Expression of P16 and nm23-H, in bladder carcinoma play an important role in suppression of invasive growth and metastasis of tumor , might be a good indicator of predicting metastasis and porgnosis and evaluation the biolo-gical behavior of bladder carcinoma.
