In order to observe the clinical effects of Shu-Guan Pill(SGP) and changes of serum CRP concentration in patients with UAP, 60 cases were randomly divided into controll group (simply with westen medicine)and treatment group(westen medicine combined with SGP).All clinical data were compared and the results were the following: 1. After treatment, the clinical symptoms, electrocardiogram (ECG) , hemorrheology and blood lipid were significantly improved in all cases ( P<0.01). 2. The total effective rates of ECG and clinical symptoms of TCM between the groups were significant (P<0.05). 3.The serum CRP concentration was higher in patients with UAP ( P<0.01).After treatment ,the difference between stable angina pectoris(SAP) and the treatment group was not significant (P<0.05). However, the difference between SAP and controll group was still significant (P<0.01). 4.During following-up, the incidence of acute cardiac events in the treatment group was lower than that of controll group.SGP has good effects on patients with UAP . Serum CRP concentration was higher in UAP. After treatment, CRP concentration decreased significantly and the incidence of acute cardiac events also decreased. Maybe it is one of the effective mechanisms that SGP has anti-inflammation effect.
