Objective:In order to estimate the value of ultra-fine particle of Whitman on treating unstable angina pectoris(UAP) disease and protecting acute ischemically injured mice myocardium, and explore their mechanisms.Methods:60 cases of unstable angina pectoris (UAP) disease were divided into 3 groups:group A,20 cases,treated with normal medicine;group B, 20 cases, treated with normal medicine and bigger particle of Whitman;group C, 20 cases,treated with normal medicine and ultra-fine particle of Whitman. We mainly observed such indexes as clinical symptom, EKG effect and the level of blood-lipid,SOD,MDA,vWF and GMP-140 .Mice were pre-treated with ultra-fine or bigger particle of Whitman, then they were experimented to be acute ischemically injured myocardium models, the level of blood SOD, MDA,ET, CK and LDH was observed,And also the changes of myocardium Pathology and EKG.Results:the total clinic effective rate of angina pectoris and EKG of group B And C was higher than that of group A, P<0.05 and P<0.01.The total clinic effective rate of traditional chinsese medicine of group B And C was higher than that of group A,P< 0.01,and that of group C was higher than group B ,P< 0.05.The improvement of blood-lipid,SOD,MDA,vWF and GMP-140 of group B And C was higher than that of group A,P< 0.01;and the improvement of blood TC,ApoA I ,ApoA I /ApoBl00, MDA,vWF and GMP-140 of group C was better than that of group B,P<0.05 or P< 0.01 .Animal experiment showed that two kinds of particle could reduce the level of bloodMDA,ET,CK,LDH,P<0.05 and P<0.01;and improve the Level of SOD,Czrdiogram,P< 0.05 and P< 0.01 ;and reduced the degree of injured mice myocardium tissue.The protection in ultra-fine particle pre-treated mice was more effective than that in bigger particle pre-treated ones.Conclusion:ultra-fine particle of Whitman was more effective in treating unstable angina pectoris(UAP) disease than bigger particle of Whitman,and it can effectively protect ischemically injured mice myocardium;There were serious vascular endothelium injury,platelet activition,lipid peroxidation in both unstable angina pectoris(UAP) patients and ischemiclly injured mice myocardium.Ultra-fine particle of Whitman was more effective in improving them.This study primarily explore the michanism of Whitman in treating unstable angina pectoris(UAP) disease.
