Clinical And Experimental Study Of Micro-powder Of Panax Notoginseng On Both Treating Unstable Angina And Protecting In Isoproterenol Induced Myocardial Necrosis In Rats

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of unstable angina, with Panax notoginseng, discuss its possible mechanism and provide scientific proof for its clinical application. Methods: 1. Clinical Study: 120 cases of UA patients compared with 30 cases of normal people were divided in 4 groups randomly: control group with routine west medicine treatment, 3 treatment groups with rough-powder of Panax notoginseng, micro-powder of full dosage Panax notoginseng and micro-powder of 1/2 dosage Panax notoginseng. There were 30 cases in each group and the course of treatment was 1 month. There were 30 cases of normal people in another group.To observe the cease and reduce rate of nitrate ester medicine, attack frequency of angina pectoris, EKG and TCM symptoms after treatment. To detect SOD, MDA, vWF, Ps, and to detect T lymphocyte subgroup CD3⁺, CD4⁺, CD8⁺, CD4⁺/CD8⁺, IgG,, IgA , IgM, complement hs-CRP and TNF- α .2. Experimental Study: Mice were pre-treated with rough-powder of Panax notoginseng, micro-powder of full dosage Panax notoginseng and micro-powder of 1/2 dosage Panax notoginseng, then they were experimented to be acute ischemically injured heart models by ISO, to observe EKG,and the level of blood SOD,MDA,ET, CK,LDH were observed. And also observed their preparations. Results: 1. UA patients had serious vascular endothelium injury,platelet activition.deficiency of cellular immunity, excess of humoral immunity and were in hyper-inflammatory state. The 3 treatment groups all shaved that Panax notoginseng could improve symptoms of angina pectoris, reduce wastage of nitroglycerin, improve EKG and clinical syndrome in UA patients. It could elevate SOD, CD₄⁺ and CD₄⁺/ CD₈⁺, and decrease MDA, vWF, Ps ,IgG and hs-CRP significantly. It was superior to west medicine control group. Micro-powder of full dosagewas superior to rough powder group in many indexes, and rough powder group was correspond with micro-powder of 1/2 dosage in some indexes .2. Animal experiment showed that three kinds of particle could improve EKG, reduce the level of blood MDA,ET,and improve the Level of SOD,and reduce the degree of injured rats heart tissue. The protection in Micro-powder of full dosage pre-treated rats was more effective than that in rough powder pre-treated ones, and rough powder group was correspond with micro-powder of 1/2 dosage. Conclusion: Panax notoginseng could be more effective in improving vascular endothelium injury,platelet activition, regulating cellular and humoral immunity and anti-inflammatory, this might be its mechanism on angina pectoris;Micro-powder could increase curative effect and reduce dosage.
