For testing the effects and discovering the mechanism of Marrow-supplementing and Blood-engendering Granule (MSABEG) working on PA, PA mouse was investigated.The comparision of RBC, BMC, reticulocyte and peripheral blood cell before and after treatment suggested that MSABSEG and YiZhong Blood-engendering tablet (YZBET) could significantly (P<0.05) stimulate the growth of bone marrow, increase the level of peripheral hemoglobin, reticulocyte and RBC, BMC.The comparision of serum iron, serum ferritin ,TIBC before and after treatment suggested that MSABSEG and YZBET could significantly (P<0.05) stimulate the increase the level of serum iron, serum ferritin , discrease the the level of TIBC.The effective rate of treating PA with MSABEG and YZBET hit 77.23%, higher than YZBET.By comparing 6 parameters: myelogram, peripheral hemogram, reticulocyte , SI, SF, TIBC measured before and after treatment with MSABEG, we conclude that MSABEG works better on PA. It is a new and good Chinese medicine for anemia.
