Objective: To summarize the characteristics of epidemiology, clinical manifestation and regular laboratory examination in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and analyze the causes of the death in SLE. And assess the utility of measurement of laboratory parameters in the diagnosis, evaluating the disease activity and the therapeutic efficacy. Then draw experience and lessons from the summary of SLE, seek the clinical commonness and characteristics of SLE, benefit to the earlier diagnosis and therapy, raise curative effect, lengthen the life span of patients and raise their quality of life. Method: The 400 SLE cases of initial hospitalization were divided into 4 groups according to the disease activity based on SLEDAI : basically inactive group, slightly active group, medially active group and heavily active group. Retrospectively analyzed the age, sex, initial duration of the disease, degree of disease activity, initial symptoms, regular laboratory examination and the causes of death in SLE, etc. And then draw a conclusion by statistical analysis. Result: 1. Among the 400 cases, the male female ratio was 1:6, The percentage of the reproductive age women was 65.50%. The average age was (30.01±12.58) years, the average duration of the disease was (4.27±3.52)months. The slightly active group was the most(39.25%), the heavily active group was the least.( 11.75%) . 2. Among the initial symptoms: The facial erythema was the most common (incidence rate 58.00%), the group of sexual pre-maturity period had the highest incidence rate of facial erythema ( P<0.01) ; Next was arthralgia (incidence rate 47.00%) , sexual pre-maturity group, sexual maturity group and sexual post-maturity group had no obvious difference in the incidence rate of arthralgia ( P>0.05) . 3.In the blood RT: the anemic incidence rate (67.75%) was...
