This article is meant to study and explore the influence of Shengmaitang on non-specific immunity. It has been believed that Shengmaitang has wide application and effect, but seldom been studied on it's immunity. This study observes the effect of different doses Shengmaitang on rat's NK cell quantity, TNF-αamount, immune organs weight, index and histomorphological transformation, etc. It turns out that Shengmaitang is capable of increasing NK cell quantity and TNF-αamount, improving immune organs weight, index and ameliorating immune organs histomorphological transformation. As a result, it suggests that Shengmaitang can enhancing immunity function in different aspects, different layers such as immune organs, immunocytes and immune molecules, etc. In consequence, this study provides guidance significance for clinical practice, and what's more, it offers scientific basis for investigating and applying safe and effective Traditional Chinese Medicine to widely modulate immunity.
