OP can belongs to the category of "atrophic debility of bones " by onset and process of the illness, which has no responseed disease in TCM. The onset and process of OP is considered that it has mainly relation with deficiency of the kidney, insufficiency of the spleen and blood stasis.Currently typing according to syndrome differentiation of OP is in a muddle, because the recognization to onset and process of OP is different; So the standard of typing according to syndrome differentiation of OP is unified, and the study of the clinica Epidemiology of TCM pathogenisis in POP is much little. It baffles OP canonical treating according to the syndromes at certain degeree, further attecting the exaltation of the clinical whole curative effect of TCM.This research adopts the way of combining the epidemiologica study and the strict modern statistics method, which tries to find the main syndrome of OP and the distribution of them. Participants169 csaes disgnosed with OP and accord with the standard bring into who see doctors during October 2005 to May 2006, in which 105 come from the GuangDong provincial of TCM and the others come from the NO. three hospital attached to GuangZhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.MethodsFirstly, we designed the Investigation Format of TCM on the basis of the anylasis result of related articles and books.
