Object: Stomach carcinoma is one of the most common alimentary tract cancers with mortality. Invasion and metastasis is the direct cause to death. Many studies have indicated that CD44V6 participated in the infiltration and metastasis of malignant tumour, and CD44V6 has more relationship with the prognosis of stomach carcinoma. E-cadherin and ICAM-1 can enhance the infiltration and metastasis of malignant tumour. PCNA can reflect the level about the malignant tumour. The object of this topic is to investigate the expression of CD44V6, E-cadherin, ICAM-1 and PCNA in human stomach normal mucosa, malignant tumor and lymph node metastasis, and to study the relationship and clinic significance among the expression of CD44V6, E-cadherin, ICAM-1 and PCNA in human stomach carcinoma. Which can provid important theoretical evidence for diagnosis and therapy of stomach carcinoma. Methods: 78 cases of stomach carcinoma patients, 30 case of nonmalignant tissue and 30 case of normal stomach who underwent surgical resection between 2003 and 2005 at Tangshan...
