Telomerase maintains the telomeric ends of linear chromosomes and protects them from degradation and end-to-end fusion. It has been identified that there are three components in human telomerase: human telomerase RNA component (hTR), human telomerase protein 1(hTP1), and human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT). Human telomerase reverse transcriptase is the catalytic subunit of telomerase which is activated in more than 85% of cancer and immortalization cells but not in most of somatic cells. So, as a tumor-associated antigen expressed in the vast majority of human tumors, we can observe the immunological effect of antineoplastic inducing from it in vivo and in vitro and approach to offer experiment thereunder for the construction of antineoplastic vaccine in the target of hTERT.The subject can be divided into two parts: in vitro and in vivoObject:In vitro: many experiments have approved that if we look upon hTERT on target for antitumorigenesis , the organism generate specific antineoplastic immunization which can clean out cancers or inhibit cancers. But if we add the expression of hTERT in cancers and observe if getting stronger immunogenicity of tumor cells and more cytotoxic T lymphocytes for arosing stronger immunological effect, nothing reported. In the expriment we will observe if getting more hTERT espression in EC9706 cells...
