Clinical Research On Kang Ping Antihypertension Capsule(KPAC) Treating Hypertension And Left Ventricular Hypertrophy

Objective: To observe the clinical effect and mechanism of KPAC to treat hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy on the base of traditional and modern theory. Methods: In 12 weeks ,30 cases as test group with KPAC were observed vs 28 cases with captopril tablet as control group. Results: KPAC group and captopril tablet group both have obvious effect on treating hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy. Compared with control group ,KPAC has the superior tendency, with no statistical significance (P>0.05) .Further more ,on the aspects of eliminating symptoms restoring blood pressure circadian rhythm, reducing viscosity of blood,could also improving left ventricular diastolic function and endothelial function .the test group is superior to the control one (P<0.05) . Conclusion: KPAC had significant effect on LVH.
