ObjectiveTo investigate the feasibility of fixed delay time method, optimize the optimal scanning way and assess the accuracy of demonstrating hepatic arteries in hepatic arterial CTA; To analyze hepatic arterial anatomy and variations and its clinical values. Material and methods1. patients' data326 cases (224 males and 102 females; age range 12-82 years old, mean age 49.5 years old) undergone abdominal CTA had been studied in this research since May, 2005 to June, 2006. In the 326 cases there were 35 cases with primary hepatic carcinoma, 75cases with hepatic cyst, 42 cases with hepatic hemangioma, 32 cases with metastasis tumors, 16 cases with gallstones, 126 normal cases. These 326 cases were divided into 6 groups according to different delay times, intravenous injection rates, reconstruction slice thickness and scanning methods.2. Preparation for examinationAll the patients had to be fasting 6 hours before examination and drink oral negative contrast(warm water) about 800-1000ml half an hour before scanning. All the patients were given respiration training just before scanning.3. CTA methods and technique parametersAll the CTA were scanned and reconstructed by 16-slice spiral CT machine made...
