The Value Of Monitoring Serum β-HCG,Progesterone And Ultrasound In Ectopic Pregnancy With Medical Conservative Treatment.

Objective: To explore the monitoring value ,correlation and change regulationof serum Human chorionic gonadotropin ( β-HCG) , Progesterone, B-ultrasound(US) and Colour Doppler flow imaging( CDFI ) in Ectopic pregnancy(EP) , and to study the index of forecasting effect of EP after conservative treatment.Method:1 90 patients were selected. 74 patients were submitted to the systemic medical treatment, 16 submitted to surgical treatment. Size of adnexal mass and levels of β -HCG were unlimited. All cases were done the examination including β -HCG, Progesterone, US and CDFI before treatment.2 All conservative treatment patients were treated with multidose of MTX and Ru486 (MTX 20 mg/d i.m. 5 days+ Ru486 25 mg . bid .3 days).3 The biggest blood flow signal side was found and the blood signal shape and size was recorded by the examination of CDFI before medical treatment and after the 7th day.4 The serum levels of β - HCG and Progesterone were detected on day4, 7,10,14 after the therapy ,and, once a week until values were completely undetectable. If β-HCG values of day 7 decreased more than 15% of that before treatment, the treatment was thought successful . β -HCG values of day 7 did not fall less than 15% of that before treatment or higher than that value, if CDFI displayed trophoblastic flow signal decreased, the treatment was paused, otherwise, repeated therapy (MTX 50mg ,i. m .).5 Ultrasound judgment criteria:①CDFI showed trophoblastic flow signal including 5 grades: grade 0 no flow signal ; grade 1, a situation like dot; grade 2 , a shaft or less...
