Objective : To observe the effect of scalp acupuncture on cerebral nerve growth factor(NGF)expression in intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH) rats, and investigating the mechanism of the scalp acupuncture treatment acute intracerebral hemorrhage .Method:â‘ .The fresh blood don't heparnize from the body artery of rats injected in the left caudate nucleus of rats by streroscopic fixed position thchnique to pruduce ICH animal model.â‘¡. A total of 160 Wistar rats were evenly randomized into normal, model, acupunctute, western medicine(brain duplicate kang) groups. Normal group 10 rats, model group, acupuncture group,western medicine group 50 rats. The latter three groups also divide into 6h group,1d group,2d group,3d group,7d group according to death time, each group of 10 rats.â‘¢. The brain tissue samples were fixed with formaldehyde, sliced up, and then stained with immunohistochemical technique for observing NGF expression .Result:â‘ Auto-comparison between acupunctute group and model group in neurological defect scores showed notable difference(P<0.01).There was the same difference between western medicine group and model(P<0.01),but between acupunctute and western medicine groups, the neurological defect scores showed significant difference after treatment(P<0.05).â‘¡There were notable differences betwen acupuncture group and model group, and between western medicin and model groups in the NGF expression , and the effect of acupuncture group was significantly superior to that of western medicine group(P<0.05).Conclusion : Scalp acupuncture can improve neurological function and upregulate the expression of cortical NGF in intracerebral hemorrhage rats.
