| Objective : The clinical outcome of chronic idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (CITP) and the study of interleykin-4 expression in serum treated by ZiQian capsule, and the change regularity of interleykin-4 was investigated with ZiQian capsule treated on CITP.Methods: 64 patients with CITP were divided into 2 group, adopting randomized, single blinded and controlled principle. The treated group treated with ZiQian capsule and the control group treated with Promote thrombocyte capsule. The change of clinical symptom, platelet, myelogram and interleykin-4 levels between the 2 group were observed before and after treatment.Results:â‘ The total effective rate of Ziqian Capsule was 93.75% and that of Shengxuexiaoban capsule was 84.38%. There were obvious differences between the 2 groups (P<0.01) .â‘¡The platelet and the thrombocytogenous megakaryocyte of the 2 groups elevated after treatment, and the effect ZiQian capsule was significantly superior to Promote thrombocyte capsule (P<0.05) .â‘¢The serum interleykin-4 levels of CITP patient was ascend than that of the normal, which was decreased through treated, but there were no difference between the 2 groups (P>0.05) .Conclusions:â‘ The total effective rate of ZiQian capsule on CITP, is superior to that of Promote thrombocyte capsule.â‘¡the effect of the ZiQian capsule was better than the Promote thrombocyte capsule in clinical symptoms improving, platelet elevated, thrombocytogenous megakaryocyte increase.â‘¢ZiQian capsule have an inmitate in interleykin-4 levels in serum of ITP patients, interleykin-4 play an important role in pathogenesis and clinical of CITP patients.
