The Research Of Tang Luo Tong(a Decotion/a Prepared Chinese Medicine) In The Prophlaxis And Treatment Of Diabetic Nephropathy

Objective:To observe and explore the curative effect and function mechanism of a TCM prescript_ion - Tang Luo Tong in the treatment of Diabetic Nephropathy by way of the kidney's reinforcement and activate the blood circulation to remove the blood stasis and obstruction from the medirian and collateral .Methods:Divided 33 rats into three groups,the normal comparison group (N),the Diabetes group (D) and the treatment group (DT), given streptozocin by abdominal injection to the D group as modeling material.The D and DT groups are given PZI once every othe day by subcutaneous injection.At th same time,treated DT group with Tang Luo Tong.After continously medicate for eight week-long ,observe and examine the body weight, FBG,GHb,24h quantitative of urinary albumin,liver and renal function and adrenocortical expression_ level of RAGE mRNA.Besides,observe the nephric pathological changes of rats through the OEM and electron micro -scrope.Stochastically divided 71 patients into two groups as clinical studies,both groups medicated with diabetic routine treatment, the treatment group(37 patients) medicated with Tang Luo Tong while the comparison group(34 patients) medicated with Captopril at the same time,around treatment,follow-up the clinical symptoms/signs and observe the changes of laboratory index.Results:The experimental study indicated :medicated with TangLuoTong has a better curative effect at eliminating proteinuria and reducing adrenocortical RAGE mRNA of diabetic rats,comparatively difference between groups(P<0.01). TangLuoTong has had protect function to the renal of DM rat through the observation of OEM and e-microscrope.But there is no comparatively difference between groups in the decreasion of blood sugar and GHb(P>0.05). The clinical research demonstrated that the total effective rate of the treatment group is 83.9% while the comparison group is 55.9%,the total effective symptoms amelioration rate of the treatment group is 86.48% while the comparison group is 61.76%,shown a comparatively difference between both groups(P<0.05). Tang Luo Tong has a better curative effect in reduction of blood sugar and GHb, compared with around treatment turned up a significance of difference(P<0.05) , yet between the comparison of both groups doesn't have the difference(P>0.05).TangLuoTong has a better curative effect in the aspect to improve blood -lipid ,enhance blood flow and reduce urinary albumin, between both groups have the comparatively difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:This research has enriched the theories of TCM in DN's treatment,and has affirmed the curative effect of Tang Luo Tong for" reinforcing the kidney and activating the blood circulation to rmove the blood stasis and obstruction from meridian &collesteral" as prophylaxis and treatment of DN,it also has established the foundation for the further research in depth.
