Effects On Bone Marrow CD34~+ Cells Of Chronic Aplastic Anemia By Using Shen Qi Yi Shen Drink

Objective:To observe the exPerienced recipe invented by the well-known professor Liangbing on Traditional Chinese Medicine-Shen Qi Yi Shen(SQYS) Drink's clinical effect,clinical symptom score,blood phenomenon,bone marrow phenomenon,CD34~+ expression level of Chronic Aplastic Anemia (CAA),realize effects on hematoPiesis,disclose it's effective mechanism in cystobiology degree,imply theory for clinical application, and try to develop and inherit experiences from famouse professor of Liangbing.Methods:Collection of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital Xue Yeke February 2007 to April 2008 during the hospital in-patient and out-patient of CAA patients,30 patients with CAA were randomly divided into two groups:the treatment group is 20 cases,the control group is 20 cases. The patients from from treatment group take SQYS(Dangshen,Astragalus,Psoralen,Xianling spleen,Salvia),combined with Andriol.Pianyu kidney-yang deficiency,and Lu Jiaojiao,Dodder,Bajitian;pianyu kidney-yin deficiency, plus situ,Ligustrum lucidum,Lotus grass;bleeding obvious tendency, plus Garden Burner,Rhizoma Imperatae,Shikonin;fever,obviously infection, and antelope horn powder,Zhimu,dandelion.The control group was only treated with Andriol.The treatment course is six months.The clinical effect were observed during the course.During the periods of treatment,whole patients receipt heteropathy.We would take routine examination on every patient of blood,urine and stool,also the function of heart(including ECG), live and kidney before and after treatment,recording adverse effects,taken measures and turnover.The clinical effect were observed during the course.Flow cytometer examine changes on bone marrow CD34~+ cell of CAA Patients from two groups before and after treatment.All data were analyzed by SPSS 13.0. Results:(1)The total effective rate of the treatment group reaches 80%, while the control group reaching 60.00%,the treatment group is more effective than the control group,patients using SQYS combined with Andriol Precede Andriol on curative effects(P＜0.01).(2)Average points compared two groups of symptoms,treatment before the treatment group compared with the control group no significant difference.After treatment,the treatment group,compared with the control group before treatment have a very significant difference (P＜0.01);treatment group compared with the control group have a very significant difference(P＜0.01).(3)Changes in blood,two groups of patients with WBC,Hb,PLT increased significantly after treatment,there were significant differences before treatment(P＜0.01),but the treatment group than the control group.(4)The two groups myelodysplastic changes,the proliferation of bone marrow after treatment than before treatment to improve, the treatment group has a very significant difference(P＜0.01).(5)Two bone marrow CD34~+ cells relative changes in the count,after treatment,the treatment group,compared with the control group before treatment is progress,but significant progress in the treatment group(P＜0.01).Conclusion:The decrease on hematopoietic stem cell's number was one of the pathology mechanism with chronic aplastic anemia patients.Compared with changes of clinical effect,clinical symptom score,blood phenomenon, bone marrow phenomenon,CD34~+ expression level on patients with Chronic Aplastic Anemia,patients using SQYS combined with Andriol preced Andriol on curative effects.Clearly,Bushen Huoxue recipe(SQYS)may regulate immune function,improve bone marrow micro-environment,or direct role in bone marrow CD34~+ cells,bone marrow to promote reconstruction,improve the early hematopoietic stem/Progenitor cells in the number and made the clinical efficacy.
