The spore of Ganoderma lucidum is sexual reproduction cell--basidiospore. Itincludes all germ plasm of Ganoderma lucidum. It comprises polysaccharides, triterpenoids, vitamines, alkaloids and so on. The spores were confirmed to have various biological functions, for example anti-tumour, anti-radiation,protecting liver, anti-oxidation, improving body immunocompetence.Since the conception of the sporoderm-broken spores was accepted, the various products appeared in the market. The sporoderm-broken rate was considered as a standard judging spores quality, but the means determining the sporoderm-broken rate were absent. Because the sporoderm-broken spores were costly, the spores adulterating counterfeits appeared in the market. The consumer benefits were damaged and new problems were brought to testing institution.The research was done to solve the two problems above:The means determining thesporoderm-broken rate was established.The agricultural standard--《the determinationon the sporoderm-broken rate of Ganoderma lucidum spores》was established; The spores and adulterants were observed under light microscope and SEM; Some chemical components were determined to establish chemical finger marks of the spores; The oxidation extents of the intact spores and the sporoderm-broken spores were determined; The quality of products in the market were judged.The main results were as follows: (1) G. Lucidum spore number was counted in the hemacytometer. The standard curve was established by spores mass and corresponding number. Then unknown sporoderm-broken rate was determined according to the standard curve. The accuracy and precision of this method were good.(2) At present some known adulterants in sporoderm-broken spores could be differentiated directly under light microscope.(3) The percentage of ashes to gross dry spores mass were in 2%. The percentage of the coarse fat to gross dry intact spores were in 10%. The percentage to gross dry sporoderm-broken spores were 30%~40%. The content of chrome in intact spores was safe. It in sporoderm-spores broken by machine was beyond safe standard.The percentage of the coarse polysaccharide to gross dry intact spores were 1%~1.5%.The percentage to gross dry sporoderm-broken spores were in 2%.The percentage of the triterpenoids to gross dry intact spores were 1%~2%.The percentage to gross dry sporoderm-broken spores were 2%~3%. (4) The oxidation extent of spores were enhanced after sporoderm broken and irradiation.
