Objective To compare the safety and efficacy of drug-eluting stent(DES) and bare mental stent (BMS) in patients with coronary artery heart disease(CHD).Methods 305 patients with CHD were randomized into the DES group and BMS group.155 patients with CHD underwent coronary artery DES implantation and 150 patients with CHD underwent coronary artery BMS implantation were followed-up by outpatient visiting, spiral CT and angiography to analysis the rate of the acute and sub acute and late stent thrombosis, major adverse cardiac event(MACE) for 12 months after implantation. Results 183 DES were implanted for coronary lesion in 155 patients;the success rate of stent implantation was 98.7%.145 patients(93.55%) received angiography checking,3 patients received spiral CT angiography checking. The rate of the MACE was 12.26%(19/155),including 1 ease with sudden death,3 case with acute myocardial infarction(AMI),15 case with a(?)ieved revascularization. The rate of the restenosis and MACE related with DES was 12.25%(19/155);180 BMS were implanted for coronary lesions in 150 patients;the success rate of stent implantation was 100%.140 patients received angiography, 4 case received spiral CT anglography on coronary artery. The rate of the MACE was 17.33 %(26/150),the rate of the resrenosis was 21.33%(32/150).The total rate of the restenosis and the MACE in DES group was lower than in the BMS group;but no significant difference about acute and sub acute stent thrombosis was found in two groups. The rate of the restenosis in patients with DM,complex and diffuse lesions, overlapping stent and long stent was 11.94% vs20.0%,11.8%vs.27.8%,12.5%vs18.2%,12.5%vs18.9%.Conclusion The use of DES in CHD can reduce the rate of the restenosis and MACE,especially in patients with 1M,ostial coronary lesion, complex diffuse lesion and DM.
