Objective:To observed the clinical effect of Busuishengxue granule on CAA,evaluated the expression of cell adhesion molecules, such asα5β1/VLA-5 andαLβ2/LFA-1 by bone marrow mononuclear cells in patients with CAA before and after treatment, reveal the pathogenesis of CAA.Methods:Devided 58 CAA patients into experiment group with Busuishengxue granule and control group with stanozolol tablet randomly to observe the curative effect; The mRNA expression ofα5β1/VLA-5 andαLβ2/LFA-1 in bone marrow mononuclear cells was measuerd by RT-PCR, the expression of related adhesion moleculesα5β1/VLA-5 andαLβ2/LFA-1 by flow cytometry.Results:(1)Busuishengxue granule could alleviate CAA patients'anemia symptoms and increase the peripheral bloodcells significantly.(2) The levels ofα5β1/VLA-5 andαLβ2/LFA-1 were both lower than that in the normal controlled group before treatment, but after treatment they got elevated respectively in different degree.(3) The levels ofα5β1/VLA-5 mRNA was lower than that in the normal controlled group before treatment, but after treatment it got elevated respectively in different degree; The levels ofαLβ2/LFA-1 mRNA was higher than that in the normal controlled group before treatment, but after treatment it got decreased respectively in different degree. Conclusion:Our study indicate curative effect of Busuishengxue granule on CAA is confirmed.Abnomal function of adhesion due to the abnormal expression of the adhesion molecule receptors on hematopoietic stem progenitor cell and its ligands in hemaotpoietic microenviroment exist in CAA,Busuishengxue granule probably improving adhesion function by regulating the cell adhesion molecules expression.
