Objective: To observe the clinical effect of chronic aplastic anemia (CAA) treated with Busuishengxue granule (BSSXG) and the difference in expression levels of LFA-3/CD58, CD11b, Ln and IL-12 before and after treatment.Method: Sixty-five cases of CAA were divided into two groups at random, thirty-four patients of the treated group were treated with BSSXG and thirty-one patients of the control group were treated with Zaizhang Shengxue tablet (ZZSXT) .We observed the clinical effect of the sixty-five patients treated with BSSXG and ZZSXT. At the same time, the expression of LFA-3/CD58, CD11b of BMMNC and Ln, IL-12 of serum in CAA patients were detected by flow cytometry ( FCM ) and ELISA respectively before and after treatment.Result:(1) The total effective rate of BSSXG and ZZSXT were76.47% and 51.61%, the comparison between the two groups showed significant difference ( P<0.05 ) .BSSXG could alleviate CAA patients anemia symptoms and increase the peripheral blood cells significantly.(2) In BSSXG group, its curative effect was superior in Yang deficiency type to that in Yin deficiency type ( P<0.05 ) .(3) The expression of LFA-3/CD58, CD11b were both lower than that in the normal controlled group before treatment, but after treatment they got elevated respectively in different degree, the comparison between the two groups showed significant difference in CD11b (P<0.01) and there was no significant difference in LFA-3/CD58 (P>0.05) .(4) The levels of Ln, IL-12 were both higher than that in the normal controlled group before treatment, but after treatment they were regulated respectively in different degree, the express of Ln has reach normal level' ( P>0.05 ) .(5) After treatment the comparison between the Yang deficiency type and Yin deficiency type showed significant difference in CD11b, Ln and IL-12 (P<0.05), but there were no significant difference in LFA-3/CD58 (P>0.05) .Conclusion: The abnomal expression of LFA-3/CD58 and CD11b of BMMNC and Ln and IL-12 of serum can affect the bone marrow haematopoiesis and are related closely to CAA. BSSXG can improve bone marrow haematopoiesis by regulating the expression after treatment.
