Objective To study The relationships between mycoplasma infection and female secondary infertility, and further to evaluate the quantitative difference and associativity between the race of mycoplasma and secondary infertility in female。Methods All patients were randomly selected in November 2007 to June 2008 to our hospital gynecological wards, about 20 ~ 40 years old, average age (30.5±4.8) years old in patients with secondary infertility 89 cases as the observation group; At the same period, the patients who carry the line physical examination in our hospital, aged 20 ~ 40 years old, average age (30.2±4.6) years old 97 cases as control group; Prospective analysis about mycoplasma infection was carried out among the two groups. Results There was statistically differences in positive rates of ureaplasma urealyticum (UU), Mycoplasma Hominis(MH), UU+MH between the two groups. The positive rates of UU, MH, UU+MH in the monitored groups (respectively 38.2%,16.8%,13.5%)were significantly higher than those in the control groups(respectively 12.4%,7.2%,5.2%)(P <0.05). And also there was statistically differences in UU counted numbers(CFU>106) between the two groups(P <0.05),not in MH counted numbers(P >0.05).Conclusion It is suggested that secondary infertility in women is closely correlated with mycoplasma infection.UU is the main mycoplasma genus that cause secondary infertility in women.
