Experimental Research Of Decreasing Toxicity And Increasing Efficacy On The Compatibility Of Nux Vomica And Dried Rehmannia

Nux vomica is more commonly used as a toxic clinical medicine in the treatment of rheumatoid Arthralgia,and its efficacy is remarkable which has become the consensus.Given the current nux vomica is more widely used in clinical,and the poisoning of their reports are often seen,affecting its unique curative effect.Therefore to strengthen the research on the compatibility of nux vomica,and explore effective compatibility which decreasing toxicity and increasing efficacy is the important issue to be settled urgently.Under the guidance of traditional Chinese medicine theory,and through carding the compatibility of nux vomica which can decrease toxicity and increase efficacy from ancient to now,the research select the compatibility of nux vomica and dried rehmannia to observe the influence of different dose groups in the toxicity and analgesic effect.Moreover,explore the mechanism of its analgesic.The results show that:the compatibility of nux vomica and dried rehmannia LD50 is higher than nux vomica single decoction, proves that nux vomica toxicity is lower after combined.The compatibility of nux vomica and dried rehmannia can enhance the pain response in mice hot pain threshold,also reduce the number of mice writhing reaction and the swelling of rat toes,the results are superior to single-nux vomica decoction,indicating that the compatibility can increase efficacy. At the same time,the compatibility of nux vomica and dried rehmannia protects the immune system response in rats,decreases the contents of NO, MDA in blood serum and increases the content of SOD,it showes that the analgesic effect of compatibility is related to the anti-inflammatory effect,its lower lipid peroxidation and the restoration of antioxidant enzyme activity.This research confirms that the compatibility of nux vomica and dried rehmannia has the effects in decreasing toxicity and increasing efficacy.On the other hand, proves that the superior proportion is the compatibility of nux vomica and dried rehmannia 1:6.Therefore,this not only provides a new way for toxic medicine reasonable combination, but also the basis on medication for clinical medicine elections.
