Objective to investigate the effect of blood-activating and mass-eliminating Method combined with Mifepristone treating ectopic pregnancy and analyze the relative factors of prognosis.Method 40 cases of ectopic pregnancy were given the decoction with blood-activating and mass-eliminating function and the tablets of Mifepristone. Clinical symptoms and signs, serumβ—HCG level were observed. Adnexal mass, endometrium and pelvic effusion were detected by ultrasound type B.Results in the 40 cases of ectopic pregnancy, 19 cases were healed, 17cases became better ? and 4 cases showed inefficacious. Serumβ—HCG level was the key factor of effect, and the critical level was 1000U/L for recovery. Whether the Serumβ—HCG level could decrease by 15% after one-week treatment was closely related to the effect of treatment. The size of adnexal mass was not related to the effect, while the maximal diameter of adnexal mass within 4cm was a significant factor of recovery. The cessation of menstruation within 45 days was closely related to patients' recovery. Endometrium, pelvic effusion and the appearance of fetal heart beat showed no significance to the effect of conservative treatment. Conclusion 1. The total effective rate of blood-activating and mass-eliminating Method combined with Mifepristone treating ectopic pregnancy is 90%. 2. Cessation of menstruation, abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding are the typical symptoms of ectopic pregnancy, and 75% of the patients have risk factors of ectopic pregnancy. 3. The patient can be healed if the cessation of menstruation is shorter than 45days, the maximal diameter of adnexal mass is within 4cm, the initial serumβ—HCG level is lower than 1000U/L, and the decrease of serumβ—HCG level reaches 15% after one-week treatment. 4. The appearance of fetal heart beat is not the contradiction of conservative treatment for ectopic pregnancy.
