A Clinical Trial To Evaluate The Effect Of QI ZHEN ER SHEN TANG In Treating Of Malnutrition In The Patients With Chronic Renal Failure Spleen Decoction Kidney Deficiency Syndrome

Objective:to evaluate clinical curative effect of the QI ZHEN ER SHEN TANG in treating malnutrition in the patients with chronic renal failure spleen decoction kidney deficiency syndrome.Methods:60 patients with chronic renal failure(decompensation phase)were divide into two groups,the treat group(30 cases) were treated with QI ZHEN ER SHEN TANG and routine western medicine therapy,the coutrol group(30 cases) were treated with routine western medicine therapy and JIAN PI HE WEI FANG.These patients all met the CRF and TCM diagnosis criterion.Both groups were treated for one or two months.Plasma albumin(Alb),former albumin(P-Alb),hemoglobin(Hb),kidney(Scr),BUN,a body mass index(BMI),triceps skinfold (TSF) and lipids(CHO,TG,HDL,LDL),liver function(AST,ALT) and TCM symptom scores before and after treatment were detected respectively to evaluate the therapeutic effects.Results:1,the effect intreating malnutrition:in treatment group after treatment,P-ALB and ALB and the ratio of shows ascendant trend,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).and the difference of ALB and P-ALB were statistically significant(P＜0.05).2,the effect in delaying progression of renal failure:in treatment group:after treatment were decreased,the Scr and BUN,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After the treatment group,Scr shows ascendant trend,compared with before treatment,BUN declined,but the difference was not statistically significant(P＞0.05),two groups of healing,and compared the Scr difference BUN,no statistically significant difference(P＞0.05).3,the effect in improving TCM symptoms score:Two groups were compared,the TCM symptoms score declined,the differences were significant statistically significant(P＜0.01),Both groups before and after the treatment,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.01).the two groups after treatment,the comparison between groups languid lazy,shortness of breath,less food,stay,lumbar debility,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.01),The comparison between the group of nausea and vomiting was not statistically significant(P＞0.05),the total score of TCM syndrome is a statistically significant difference(P＜0.01).Conclusions:the long-term application of QI ZHEN ER SHEN TANG can obviously improve malnutrition in patients with chronic renal failure,and effectively relieve the languid,eat less,shortness of breath,stay lazy,lumbar debility clinical symptoms,may also help to delay the progression of renal failure.
