Objective:In this study, the CD44v6 and PCNA are introduced to study the Colonrectal Cancer of TCM Syndrome Differentiation. The purpose of this study is to explore the significance of CD44V6 and PCNA, and to reveal the essence as well as the gene relationship by detecting the expression of CD44V6 and PCNA in different patterns of Colonrectal Cancer on TCM Syndrome Differentiation.Method:A prospective controlled study method was introduced in this study. According to the diagnosis, inclusion and exclusion criteria, From July 2009 to April 2010,51 Colonrectal Cancer patients diagnosed by pathology and 17 patients with Colonrectal Polypus were seleted from surgery and anorectal department in our hospital and divided into two groups relatively. The dialectical information was recorded seriously in the preoperation and all the Colonrectal Cancer patients had a pathology examination in the postoperation, the CD44V6 and PCNA were immunohisto chemically detected in various of Syndrome patterns tissue, combining with clinical pathological features, comparisons were made between the Colorectal cancer and patients with polyps. At the same time, contrast was made among the various patterns of Colorectal cancer.Result:1. The expression of CD44v6 was diffferent in different Colonrectal tissue, CD44v6 was higher expressed in Colorectal carcinoma, while in Colonrectal Polypus, the expression is not obvious, there was a significant difference (P<0.05). The PCNA was higher expressed in both Colorectal carcinoma and Polypus, the distribution was heterogeneous, the difference between two groups was distinct(P<0.05).2. The relationship between the Colonrectal Cancer and the expression of CD44v6 and PCNA indicated that the expression degree had no significant correlation with the sex and age(P>0.05).3. The expression of CD44v6 in Colonrectal Cancer with positive lymph node and multiple metastasis was significantly different between excessive and deficient patterns (P<0.05), the rate of expression in excessive patterns was 85.7%, while in deficient patterns 46.2% instead, and the expression of PCNA had no distinct distinguish in the two groups.Conclusion:1.The expression of CD44v6 and PCNA in Colorectal Carcinoma has a high specificity. As a cell adhesion protein molecules, CD44v6 may have correlation with the occurrence and development of colorectal cancer, which has important reference value on the prognosis of colorectal cancer. The expression of PCNA in colorectal carcinoma progression has a characteristic significance.2.The expression of CD44v6 in Colonrectal Cancer excessive patterns with positive lymph node and multiple metastasis is significantly higher than the deficiency patterns, which reflects deficiency-excess theory of TCM. Furthermore, it indicat that CD44v6 is related to transfer orientation and ups and downs of pathogenic qi.
