Objective:To observe the clinical effects of combining traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment on mildly or moderately stage of lupus nephritis (LN), to discuss the thinking and advantage of combining traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment.Method:60 cases of patients of lupus nephritis in mildly or moderately stage are divided into the treatment group and control group with 1:1 scale randomly. In treatment group, on the basis of the hormone therapy with Chinese medical treatment, control group use hormone therapy alone, observe the clinical symptoms, signs, and routine blood, ESR, C3, C4, routine urine, quantitative indexes of 24-hour urinary protein, kidney and liver function and antibodies of group cases in treatment of patients, and during the six months, analysis the clinical effects of the scheme, hormone usage and adverse reaction condition, etc of the two groups. Results:(1) In the treatment group of program efficacy in disease have significant effect, the total effective rate higher than that, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); (2) Treatment group, the efficacy of programs in the syndrome have significant effect, the total effective rate higher than that, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); (3) After treatment, the 24h urine protein, uRBC decline was significantly lower than the control group (24-hour urine protein quantity:P< 0.01, uRBC:P<0.05); (4) After treatment, erythrocyte sedimentation rate decreased significantly lower than the control group (P<0.01); (5) The use of hormone therapy group was significantly lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01); (6) The incidence of adverse reactions treatment group compared with the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion:In patients with lupus nephritis stage mild-to-moderate clinical curative effect, improving laboratory, reduce the incidence of aderse eents, reduced hormone usage etc., combine traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment group than hormone group.
