Objective: To investigate the efficacy and effect on hemorheology of combination of Chinese medicine and western medicine in treating erythroderma psoriaticum by observing clinical effect and the blood level changes of blood viscosity , plasma viscosity , hematocrit of patients before and after treatment. Methods:①82 confirmed erythroderma psoriaticum patients from inpatient department of dermatology were randomly divided into experimental group(42 patients) and control group(40 patients), and 20 healthy cases were treated as normal group.②Experimental group were treated 42 cases of combination of chinese medicine and western medicine selected by a heat and cooling blood, detoxification, blood circulation, nourishing qi compatibility of the efficacy of prescription drugs, one dose per day, three times serving; At the same time, Compound Glycyrrhizin Injection 40ml with 5%GS 250ml was infused by intravenous 1 time each day; Acitretin Capsules was administrated 30mg orally 1 time each day. In the control group the 40 patients were given the same treatment as the experimental group but traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions. A period of treatment lasted 8 weeks.③The therapeutic effects were investigated with PASI scores.④Application Type Beijing Saikexide SA-6000 blood flow changes detected 82 blood values of whole blood viscosity (low, medium cut and high cut), plasma viscosity, hematocrit in erythrodermic psoriasis patients before and after treatment and that in 20 normal group. The blood values of whole blood viscosity (low shear, the shear, high shear), plasma viscosity, hematocrit in each experimental group and control group before treatment, were compared with the normal group. The blood values of whole blood viscosity (low shear, the shear, high shear), plasma viscosity, hematocrit in each experimental group and control group before and after treatment, were compared. The blood values of whole blood viscosity (low shear, the shear, high shear), plasma viscosity, hematocrit in experimental group and control group before treatment, were compared. The blood values of whole blood viscosity (low shear, the shear, high shear), plasma viscosity, hematocrit in experimental group and control group after treatment, were compared.⑤SPSS13.0 package was applied for statistical analysis of the results. Comparison of measurement data used t test, P<0.05. Results:①The PASI scores in experimental group were 40.23±5.20 points before treatment and 5.33±1.03 points after treatment; the PASI scores in control group were 40.67±4.98 points before treatment and 7.46±1.01 points after treatment. The PASI scores in experimental group before treatment compared with that in control group before treatment, P>0.05, there was no significant difference. The PASI scores in experimental group before treatment compared with that after treatment, P <0.01, the differences were significant. The PASI scores in control group before treatment compared with that after treatment, P<0.01, the differences were significant. The PASI scores in experimental group after treatment compared with that in control group after treatment, P<0.01, the differences were significant.②The blood values of whole blood viscosity (low shear, the shear, high shear), plasma viscosity, hematocrit in experimental group before treatment were higher than the normal group, P<0.01, the differences were significant; The blood values of whole blood viscosity (low shear, the shear, high shear), plasma viscosity, hematocrit in control group before treatment were higher than the normal group, P<0.01, the differences were significant.③The blood values of whole blood viscosity (low shear, the shear, high shear), plasma viscosity, hematocrit in experimental group after treatment were significantly lower, P<0.01, compared with that before treatment, there were significant differences; The blood values of whole blood viscosity (low shear, the shear, high shear), plasma viscosity, hematocrit in control group were no significant changes, P>0.05, there were no significant differences compared with that before treatment.④The blood values of whole blood viscosity (low shear, the shear, high shear), plasma viscosity, hematocrit in experimental group before treatment compared with that in control group before treatment, P>0.05, there were no significant differences. The blood values of whole blood viscosity (low shear, the shear, high shear), plasma viscosity, hematocrit in experimental group after treatment were lower than that of control group, P<0.01, there were significant differences. CONCLUSION:①The clinical effect of experimental group was better than that of control group. It shows that the combination of Chinese medicine and western medicine in treating erythroderma psoriaticum have better efficacy in improving symptoms.②The blood values of whole blood viscosity (low shear, the shear, high shear), plasma viscosity, hematocrit in whole patients were higher than that in the normal group, it shows that patients with erythrodermic psoriasis exist change on hemorheology once again.③The blood values of whole blood viscosity (low shear, the shear, high shear), plasma viscosity, hematocrit in experimental group after treatment were lower than that before treatment. The blood values of whole blood viscosity (low shear, the shear, high shear), plasma viscosity, hematocrit in control group before and after treatment were no significant changes. The blood values of whole blood viscosity (low shear, the shear, high shear), plasma viscosity, hematocrit in experimental group after treatment were lower than that in control group. It shows that the combination of Chinese medicine and western medicine in improving erythroderma psoriaticum patients have a role in abnormal blood rheology.
