Systematic Review Of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Combining With West Medicine In Patients With Chronic Renal Failure In Calcium Phosphorus Metabolic Disorder

Objectives:To assess the efficacy of TCM Combining With West Medicine In Patients With Chronic renal failure in calcium phosphorus metabolic disorder, and provide scientific basis for Integrated Treatment of Chronic renal failure in calcium phosphorus metabolic disorder.Methods:We searched the Cochrane Controlled Trials Registe(CCTR),MEDLINE(1999to2010), EMBASE and China National Konwledge infrastructure (CNKI), Chinese VIP datebase (VIP), WanFang data.The Chinese journals related to TCM in 2010 searched by hand.Two authors independently assessed trial quality and extracted data from these Randomized Controlled Trails, then imported them into the Mete-analysis by Rev.Men 4.2.2.Results:15 studies (1002 patients) were identified.The results of Mete-analysis indicated.there are evidences to support that using TCM combining with west medicine is better than west medicine only on symptom physical sign and decreasing phosphorus, PTH, creatinine and urea nitrogen, increasing calcium and CCr.But the methododlogical quality is considered low in these stulevels of prevention.Conclusions:By the result of this study,TCM combining with west medicine therapy chronic renal failure in calcium phosphorus metabolic disorder more effective than simple west medicine.Since the current on randomized controlled trials about Integrative treatment of chronic renal failure in calcium phosphorus metabolic disorder of less,and as the studies of these RCTs belong to lower qualites,the strength of evidence is lower.So big sample RCTs and multiply-center should be used to affirm the effect of therapy in adult with chronic renal failure in calcium phosphorus metabolic disorder.
