Study On Risk Factors Of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease

Objective:To identify risk factors for gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD).Me thods:The patients diagnosed as GERD at the first Affilated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from 2010-5 to 2010-10 were chosen as subjects,while the non-GERD patients and the the person accepting a physical examination were chosen a s the controls.The data of diet habits and life style were collected by questionnaire. The risk factors were analyzed by multivariate logistic regression analysis.Results: Through univariate conditional Chi-square test,GERD significantly associations with, age, hiatus hernia HH,Spicy food Constipation,Strong tea,Eating too full,Hig h salt diet (P<0.05).The results of multivariate conditional logistic analysis showed that age, hiatus hernia HH,Spicy food Constipation (P<0.05) were still related to GERD.Conclusion:Good and healthy eating habits,life styles and Early treatment fo r hiatus hernia will contribute to prevent gastroesophageal reflux disease.
