Clinical Observation On Teratospermia Treated By Huangjingzanyu Capsule

【Objectives】:To observes the effect on sperm morphology of useing tonifying Kidney essence medicine to treat teratospermia. Study the relationship between sperm morphology and vitality, and discuss the relationship between sperm morphology and acrosin activities.【Methods】:This research gathered about 60 patients of teratospermia, which met the requirements of our study. Divided all the patient into two groups by random. The persons in the experimental group were treated by Huangjingzanyu capsule, a sort of traditional Chinese medicine often used to tonify Kidney essence.The persons in the control group were treated by Pancreatic Kinionogenase Enteric-coated Tab, a sort of medicine that used against teratospermia recommended by EUA. Before the treatment and three months after the treatment, all the patients were respectively checked the sperm morphology, sperm vitality and the acrosin activities. In the end, analysed the effect of the two medicine about the sperm morphology of the persons in each group, and compared the efficiency of the medicine. Above all, we analysed the relationship between sperm morphology and vitality, and the relationship between sperm morphology and acrosin activities. All the datum were entered and analysed in the statistical package SPSS v17.0.【Result】:In the end of the experiment,there were still 29 persons in the experimental group, as well as 28 persons in the control group. The rate of normal sperm in the experiment group increased from 9.6897±1.4845% to 16.1897±5.9408, as well as the control group increased from 9.3750±1.4946% to 14.2321±4.5592. Compared the two groups' sperm morphology respectly, we got a result that in each group the change after treatment had a significance difference (P<0.05). There were 24 persons got better in the experiment group, and 5 did not, in the other hand, there were 22 persons got better in the control group, and 6 did not. Analyse the two groups'indexes after treatment and the effective rate, we can find there was non-significance difference between the experiment group and the control group (P>0.05). In addition, we also got a result that there was positive correlation between sperm morphology and sperm vitality(r=0.553, P<0.05), and positive correlation between sperm morphology and acrosin activities too(r=0.558, P<0.05), and both of the result had statistical sense.[Conclusion]:Traditional Chinese medicine of tonifying Kidney essence such as the Huangjingzanyu capsule have effect of improving the sperm morphology, and the efficiency is similar to the Pancreatic Kinionogenase Enteric-coated Tab. Furthermore, there are positive correlation between sperm morphology and sperm vitality, and positive correlation between sperm morphology and acrosin activities too.
