Bushentianjing Recipe Treatment Of Kidney Essence Deficiency Idiopathic Oligospermia, Weak Sperm Infertility Clinical Observation

ObjectivesEvaluation Bushentianjing side kidney essence deficiency type in the treatment of idiopathic oligospermia, low sperm infertile patients with clinical effect. The total patients are 60 cases.The age is from 23 years old to 45 years old, the average age is 29.6 years old. The 60 patients were divided into 3 groups on the principles of controll and randomize. The first group is oral traditional Chinese medicine;the second group is oral traditiongal Chinese medicine and tamoxifen;the third group is oral tamoxifen only. The independent sample t test of three groups on age, clinical symptoms, laboratory were:P >0.05. They had comparable.1) Treatment group is oral traditional Chinese medicine. Basic side:Dodder 20g,Ligustrum lucidum 15g,Cistanche20g,Epimedium 15g, Mulberry child 15g, Salvia 10g, Medlar 15g, Alisma 10g, Heterophylla 15g, Eclipta prostrate 15g, Poria 15g, Polygonatum 20g, Rehmannia 15g, Licrice 6g.2)The first control group is oral traditiongal Chinese medicine and tamoxifen;3) The second group is oral tamoxifen only.All the groups were 70 days for a course. Last, there wre 55 patients completed a 20-week treatment of various stages of evalution. Five patients exiting. Throughout the course of treatment, no patients showed significant side effects.ResultImprovement in symptoms, treatment group and control 1 were improved compare with before treatment. The difference of before and after had statistically significant (P<0.05). In control tow symptoms of before and after treatmentisslightly improved, haven" t statistically significant (P>0.05). But compared with treatment group and control group 1,the difference was have statistically significant(P<0.05).In semen quality:1)The number of sperms, after a course of treatment, control group 1 and 2 were increased significantly. There were significant diference compared with treating before(P<0.05). But no significant betweent tow groups (p>0.05). Treatment group did not increased the sperms. But compare with tow control groups, they have significant, treatment group is less than tow control groups.After tow courses of treatment, three groups" sperms were increased compared with treating before, they have statistically significant(P<0.05). But did not have difference between the three groups(P>0.05).In sperms activity, after a course of treatment the three groups did not have statistically significant (P>0.05) compared with being treated. There were also did not have statistically significant(P>0.05) difference betwin the groups. After tow courses of treatment, treatment group and control group were have statistically significant(P>0.05) compared with being treated. But no significant betweent tow groups(p>0.05).Control group 1 did not have statistically significant (P>0.05) compared with being treated. But did not have difference between the three groups(P>0.05). But having difference between the three groups(P<0.05). Conclusion1)In improving symptoms, Bushentianjing recipe would have a demonstrable effect in a course of treatment. But to improve the sperm quality would need tow courses or even longer.2)Using tamoxifen alone, the patients sperms will increase faster but clinical symptoms and sperms activity had no improvement.3)In the basis of Bushentianjing recipe, added tamoxifen to treat patients, no matter the symptoms or the quality of sperms all would become better in a short time. But in a long time it do not have advantage, compare with using Bushentianjing recipe alone.
