Objective:Sepsis leading by severe burn or large-area burn would be high level in 2 weeks after injury, resulting in the high level of morbidity and mortality. But, treatment of curing Extensive Burn and Severe Burn is palliative in most cases. The key of successfully curing Burn Sepsis is the earliar Dignosis and Precaution.Xuebijing injection is a new methodology combined with Ulinastatin injection preventing and curing sepsis and multitude organ dysfunctions syndrome in clinical practice, with effectiveness of antibiosis, antiendotoxin and anti-inflammatory factor. As two markers of acute phase proteins in inflammatory, Prealbumin and C-reactive protein would change in connection with the level of inflammatory or infection. This study was designed to investigate the effects of Xuebijing injection combined with Ulinastatin injection in curing burns, and the changes about Prealbumin and C-reactive protein.Methods:120 patients with severe burn or extensive burn were choosen from Yan'an University Affiliated Hospital between January 2007 and June 2010, and 73 cases were male, 47 female, average ages (33.21±6.23 ), average burn area(48.36±13.25)%. They were divided randomly into 4 groups: group A (Xuebijing injection combined with Ulinastatin injection); group B (Xuebijing injection group); group C (Ulinastatin injection group); group D (contrast group). There were no difference on ages , gender, hospitalization etc. in statistics(P >O.05). 4 groups were given routine therapy except patients given Xuebijing injection combined with Ulinastatin injection in group A, patients given Xuebijing injection in group B, patients given Ulinastatin injection in group C, patients given aquivalence Saline Solution in group D. All patients were supervised by T0(0~6h after injury),T2(48~72h after injury),T4(96~120h after injury),T7(168~192h after injury). All measurement data were represented by mean±standard difference(±S). All data were analyzed with SPSS 12.0.Results:1,The level of CRP,PA score in group A,B,C trended to increase or decrease was significantly lower or higher than that in contrast group(P<0.05).2,The level of CRP,PA score in group A trended to increase or decrease was significantly lower or higher than that in group B,C(P<0.05).Conclusions:1,This study also indicate that Xuebijing injection combined with Ulinastatin injection can reduce effectively the SIRS, making the patients after burn steadier.2,This study also indicate that Xuebijing injection combined with Ulinastatin injection can treat more effective than independent use of Xuebijing injection or Ulinastatin injection.
