Ficns Pumila Lseeds as raw materials in this study are extracted for its pectin. The physicochemical properties and physiological functions of Ficus Pumila Lseeds pectin was researched by chemical method, instrument analyse and animal experiment which provided the theoretical basis to food processing and food health. The main conclusions of the research are as follows:1,Ficus Pumila L seed pectin extracted by the method of aqueous-ethanol precipitation-vacuum freeze-drying. Ficus Pumila Lseed through the determination of physical and chemical properties of pectin found: Ficus Pumila L.seed purity of 87.53% of pectin, degree of esterification was 38.57%, normal, pH 3.56, K and Ca elements in minerals were higher, as acid low ester pectin, with pectin product requirements; Ficus Pumila Lseed pectin solubility by pH value and solution temperature, pH value increases with increasing temperature, the solubility increases slowly; Ficus Pumila Lseed at 95℃for the stability of pectin decreases rapidly with time; Ficus Pumila Lseed pectin viscosity and pH, temperature, concentration of pectin and calcium ion concentration, and both decreased with the increase of pH, temperature The increase in first increased and then decreased to reach the maximum at 30℃, with the increase of pectin content, with the increase of calcium concentration first increases and then decreases, when reached 30mg/L, maximum; Ficus Pumila Lseed pectin with some of the oil absorption and emulsification.2,In this study, female SD rats were ovariectomized group and the pseudo-surgical resection fed the same diet for 4 weeks after the detection of contrast was found: the control group of ovariectomized rats body weight, feed intake, blood lipids, liver weight, intestinal weight were significantly higher than the pseudo-resection group; ovariectomized rats with calcium content in the control group was significantly lower than the pseudo-resection group. Description ovariectomized rats caused by abnormal lipid metabolism, body changes and severe symptoms such as calcium loss, consistent with some symptoms of menopause syndrome, that the success of this experiment set up to simulate an animal model of menopausal women.3,By Ficu sPumila L.ovariectomized rats fed pectin seeds 4 weeks, testing various physiological indicators:(1) The organizational patterns in rats. Dose group the body weight, liver/ body, intestine/body, bone weight and feed intake compared with the control group no significant difference, but there is a dose of positive correlation; rat liver/body, small intestine skin /body and cecum skin/body group no significant difference; high-dose group and OVX cecal skin surface area compared with the control group were significantly increased. Description Ficus Pumila Lseed pectin on rat body and organs weight had no significant effect, but high dose pectin can increase skin surface area of the cecum. (2) Rats defecation. The low dose group to fight rat bowel volume with the control group no significant difference in the high dose group were significantly different; from the water content of view, the low dose group and blank group were significantly different, high-dose group very significant difference. Description Ficus Pumila L seed pectin can increase the amount of defecation in rats and water content.(3) The situation of lipids in rats. TG values and dose were negatively correlated, with the high dose group and blank group were significantly different, and TCH value of the change in the dose group and control group there was no significant difference; HDL-C and the dose of positive correlation, the high dose group significant difference. LDL-C, although not significantly different, but negatively correlated with the dose. DescriptionFicus Pumila L seed pectin can reduce serum triglyceride concentrations, increased HDL-C concentration, the improvement of total cholesterol has no effect. On coronary heart disease and atheroscleros is play a preventive role, the more obvious effects of high doses of pectin. (4) Mineral absorption and bone mineral effects. Dose rats on dietary calcium, phosphorus, zinc apparent absorption rate with the control group no significant difference; high dose group on apparent iron absorption was significantly higher than the control group; for the absorption of magnesium, Ficus Pumila L seed pectin was significantly inhibited. In addition, the dose group of the lower leg of rats had no significant effect of calcium and phosphorus elements.4,Ficus Pumila Lseed pectin by in vivo fermentation was found: Ficus Pumila L.seed pectin in vivo and in vitro fermentation line, are a large number of short-chain fatty acid production, and acetate-based, its concentration was positively correlated with the dose; intestinal contents and the pH value of fermentation broth showed a dose of downward trend; on the 24h of lactic acid bacteria counts of E. coli and determination to see two kinds of bacteria in the 4h~12h are among the large population and a positive correlation with the dose. Description Ficus Pumila L.seed has good fermentation of pectin, to produce a large number of short-chain fatty acids and beneficial intestinal flora breeding.
