Objective:Feeding renal hypertension rats (RHR) with plus selenium beer and common beer, to explore the beer and common beer selenium groups of rats on the blood pressure and malondialdehyde (MDA) common content, total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC) activity, nitric oxide synthase (NOS) activity, glutathione-s-transferase (GSH-ST) activity, superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and endothelin (ET) content in these six enzyme targets, and to explore beer in particular, Se beer is an antioxidant and thus play a role in reducing blood pressure and its mechanisms.Methods:6-week-old Wister rats were fed three days after 60 Measurement-based adaptive blood pressure. They randomly divided into six groups, namely control group (water), sham operation group (laparotomy+closed abdominal after renal artery sutured found+water), model control group (model+water), ordinary beer group (model+ common beer), plus beer, selenium group (common model+beer+Se 34ug/100ml) and telmisartan group (after modeling+water+ telmisartan). Then they were performed the left renal artery narrow surgery. As soon as the surgery latter 4 weeks, form two kidneys to clamp (2 Kindney 1clip,2K1C) kidney hypertension. Six groups of animals distinguish 10,10,9,9,8 and 8. After the surgery the full 4 weeks start to feed the beer and for the telmisartan (blank control group, model group and sham-operation group for boiled and cooled water), continue for 8 weeks, every two weekends measure the body weight, the blood pressure; The 12th weekend draws blood in the determination blood malondialdehyde (MDA), total-antioxide capacity (T-AOC), the nitrogen monoxide synthase (NOS), the glutathione-s-transferase (GSH-ST) active, the superoxide dismutase (SOD) and the endothelin (ET) six kinds of enzyme.Results:After the 2K1C surgery 4 weeks, the surgery group blood pressure elevates (19.48±0.96KPa)obviously, compared with the sham-operation group (13.38±0.72Kpa) (P<0.01); The blood pressure obvious endurance droped after the beer and telmisartan given,but was still higher than the blank control group and the sham-operation group(P<0.05). Two beer groups and the blank control group werenot the difference in the liquid volume (P>0.05).Two beer groups are higher than the model control group, selenium-added beer group rats drunk more than the ordinary beer group rats; Four model group's left kidney and the left kidney/right kidney is smaller than the blank group and the sham-operation group; After surgery 12 weeks, two beer group systolic pressure were higher than the blank control group, the sham-operation group and telmisartan group, lower than the model control group, the difference has the significance (P<0.05), selenium-added beer group blood pressure being lower than the ordinary beer group (P<0.05); Selenium-added beer group in blood serum's GSH-ST, NOS and inblood plasma ET, werenot statistically different with the blank control group and the sham-operation group (P>0.05); In blank control group blood serum's T-AOC, the SOD activeness was higher than other five groups by far, two beer groups were higher than the model control group (P<0.05); Two beer group's MDA content obviously were higher than the blank control group and the sham-operation group (P<0.05), was lower than the model control group (P<0.05)Conclusion:Selenium-added beer and the common beer possibly through elevates GSH-ST, NOS, T-AOC, the SOD four kind of enzyme activities, reduces MDA and the ET content, strengthens its oxidation resistance function, thus reduces the renal hypertension rats'blood pressure.
