Objectives:To evaluate the application of shuganhewei, shanhanhuoxue method in the epigastric syndrome (EPS),on subtype of functional dyspepsia, by clinical observation of Chinese patent medicine "Qi stagnation gastritis particles" in term of its clinical efficacy and changes in the traditional Chinese medicine syndromes points.Methods:(1) Select 44 cases who met the inclusion criteria for the clinical diagnosis of epigastric pain syndrome, and the TCM syndrome differentiation of disharmony between liver and stomach accompanied with cold.(2) The 44 cases are randomly divided into two groups. The treatment group has 23 cases and control group has 21 cases. The age, gender and total scores of pre-treatment symptoms are no significant differences between the two groups, the study is comparable(p>0.05).(3) Treatment group are treated with Qi stagnation gastritis particles, one package each time,3 times a day, flushing the medicine in warm water, half an hour after meal,4 weeks totally, while Weisu granule is given to the control group in the same way. During treatment, two groups of patients are suspended in any other drugs. Take their symptom scores by follow-up, each week,4 weeks totally.(4) Observe effects (symptoms and signs, etc.) respectively.(5) Compare the symptom score before and after treatment, comprehensive efficacy, the clinical symptom score difference before and after treatment between the two groups to make a comprehensive assessment.(6)Statistical analysis:Use SPSS16.0 statistical software to analyze. Comparison of the two groups, count data use chi-square test, measurement data fit the normal distribution with the t test, do not conform with the non-parametric test. key indicators for the clinical symptoms score use descriptive statistical analysis, with (X±S) said. If P<0.05, there is statistically significant, with P<0.01 as highly significant.Results:1,23 cases in the treatment group, the clinical cure in 9 cases,4 cases markedly effective,8 cases effective,2 cases ineffective, markedly effective rate 56.5%, the total effective rate 91.3%. Control group 21 cases, the clinical cure in 5 cases, markedly effective in 10 cases, effective in 2 cases, ineffective in 4 cases, the markedly effective rate 71.4%, and the total effective rate 81.0%. By the X2 test, markedly effective rate in treatment group after treatment and the control group shows no significant difference. (X2=3.590, P>0.05). The total effective rate of treatment group is not better than the control group (X2=0.313,P>0.05).2,The treatment group and control group symptom scores before and after treatment are statistically significant P<0.01 (t treatment group=-4.205, t in control group=0.916).3,There is no obvious advantage in treating patients with upper abdominal pain which may relieved by warm, burning sensation, belching, poor appetite. Conclusion:In this study, the efficiency of qi stagnation gastritis particles and stomach Su granule on epigastralgia syndrome is similar. The efficiency of Shuganhewei, sanhanhuoxue Method and Shuganhewei Method on epigastralgia syndrome is also similar in this study.
