The Effect Of Acupuncture Combined With Medicine On Expression Of Caspase-9 MRNA In Hippocampus In Rats With Cerebral Ischemia

Objective:To observe the effect of Combination of Acupuncture and medicine on correlative genes of apoptosis which express in cerebral ischemia rats and provide referred theoretical basis and objective underlies for adopting the Combination of Acupuncture and medicine therapy treats cerebral ischemia in clinic.Method:To focal cerebral ischemia model was examined to combination of Acupuncture and medicine for the interventions (combining group), and with simple acupuncture intervention (acupuncture group) and the pure drug intervention (drug group) were observed before and after treatment intervention model of changes in nerve function score, while using Real-time PCR method to detect the expression of the important apoptotic protein Caspase-9 mRNA.in rats after treatment in the intervention.Result:Neurological scores in acupuncture group, drug group, combining group when after the intervention were significantly lower than the ones in the model group (p<0.05), and combining group inhibited significantly (P<0.01),but there was no significant difference between the acupuncture group and drug group (p>0.05); 3 treatment groups could significantly inhibit the expression of Caspase-9 mRNA in all stages of ischemia, and combining group was better than other groups.Conclusion:1.The method of Acupuncture combined with Medicine is an effective means to the therapy of ischemic cerebrovascular disease and more effective than only the acupuncture or medicines.2.The method of Acupuncture combined with Medicine can inhibit the expression of the pro-apoptotic protein Caspase-9 mRNA, which can restraint the apoptosis of nerve cells of damaged brain tissue. This is may be one of the most important mechanisms of acupuncture combined with medicine has well effective.
