Significance Of Expression Of IGF-Ⅰ,OPN And PTEN In Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Objective To investigate the expression of IGF-â… ,OPN and PTEN and its correlation with metastasis and prognosis in Non-small cell Lung Cancer. Methods Immunohistochemical staining was used to detect the expression of IGF-â… ,OPN and PTEN in 61 cases of Non-small cell Lung Cancer and 30 cases of adjacent normal tissues from patients with NSCLC. In situ hybridization was used to detect the expression of IGF-â… mRNA and OPN mRNA in 61 cases of Non-small cell Lung Cancer and 30 cases of adjacent normal tissues from patients with NSCLC.Results In 61 cases of Non-small cell Lung Cancer,the expression of IGF-â… ,OPN,IGF-â… mRNA and OPN mRNA were higher than those in the adjacent normal tissues (P <0.05).The positive rates of IGF-â… and IGF-â… mRNA were closely correlated with the cellular differentiation and lymph node metastasis(P <0.05).The positive rates of OPN and OPN mRNA were closely correlated with cellular differentiation,lymph node metastasis and TNM staging(P <0.05).In 61 cases of Non-small cell Lung Cancer,the expression of PTEN was lower than those in the adjacent normal tissues(P <0.05),The positive rates of PTEN was cosely correlated with size of tumor,cellular differentiation and lymph node metastasis(P <0.05); The expression of IGF-â… was correlated positive with that of OPN(P <0.05);The expression of IGF-â… mRNA was correlated positive with that of OPN mRNA(P <0.05); The expression of IGF-â… and OPN were correlated negatively with that of PTEN(P <0.05).Conclusion IGF-â… ,OPN and PTEN expressions are related to the occurrence and progression of NSCLC.And it may be valuable for diagnosing lung cancer and evaluating malignant extent and prognosis.
