Euphemism is a common phenomenon in national language of the world, is the focus of attention of the scholars of the language. Different culture background and social history will have a different euphemism, there are lots of euphemisms in Russian and Chinese, comparative analysis of the Russian and Chinese Euphemism, not only reflects the general character and individuality on the social history, the culture, deep values, the national psychology, and many other aspects of China and Russia, for cross-cultural communication and teaching of Russian and Chinese also has a important guiding significance. However, at home and abroad the results of comparative studies of Euphemism in Russian and Chinese is not in-depth and incomplete, this article on this topic is to be explored in six parts.The first part is the introduction; it elaborates the meaning of comparative studies of the Russian and Chinese Euphemism, and gives a comprehensive exposition of the basic situation and status of the research on Euphemism at home and abroad, points out the achievements and shortcomings in the related research.The second part is a ontology summary of Euphemism, it introduces the concept of the definition of Euphemism from the scholars of the language in China and Russia, elaborates the origin and development of Euphemism, classifies the content of Euphemism in Russian and Chinese , points out some features in the use of Euphemism.The third part gives a general summarization from the comparative perspective, summarizes three categories of the expression of the Russian and Chinese Euphemism: vocabulary means, grammar tools and rhetorical devices, and makes a careful successive analysis of every means.Part IV expands the contrast from the six comparisons, investigates the difference in the Russian and Chinese Euphemism.The fifth part discusses the same characteristics of the Russian and Chinese Euphemism from the social function, pragmatic functions and systems in the Russian and Chinese vocabulary of the three aspects.Part VI, combined with the specialty of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and the first-hand teaching experience, briefly talks about own views and opinions on the current situation of Euphemism in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and provides several available methods for Euphemism teaching.
