The Study Of Chinese Euphemism Teaching For Intermediate And Advanced Learners

Euphemism is widely used in the languages of various countries in the world,which is the common speech and linguistic phenomenon of human society.With the development of the studies of euphemism research,there have been more and more euphemism researchers began to apply the euphemism results to language teaching,and this paper is combined with euphemism ontology research results and the euphemism test results of students to explore the euphemism in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.As an significant penetration in the daily life of Chinese,Chinese euphemism is also getting more and more attention from the field of teaching It is extremely useful for foreign students to know Chinese euphemism well,for it can really improve their ability of cross-cultural communication.In order to find the specific difficulties for students in learning euphemism,this paper firstly designs an enclosed euphemism test on the base of euphemism research achievements of predecessors according to Chinese euphemism dictionaries.It has carried on the enclosed test to 121 foreign students,then analysis the text with the results and interview after the text.It shows that Chinese level of the students were positively related to the degree of learning euphemism;The expression of euphemism in death and physiology needs to be improved.All students are not so proficient when it comes to communicative topics related to grammatical euphemism.Finally we gives some specific advice for Chinese euphemism teaching according to the analytical results.
