Research For The Concept Of Zhuang's Farming Culture From The Zhuang Language's Perspective

As one of the creators of rice civilization, Zhuang has a long history of planting rice at Lingnan. In the long course of historical development, Zhuang inherited Baiyue's values, blending the culture of Central Plains, and developed a unique native farming culture. The Zhuang language is an important part of the culture. The context of farming culture not only reflects the Zhuang's social development and material, but also reflects the Zhuang's customs, ethics, values, aesthetics and religious belief, and so on.Based on the field investigations and accepting the results of previous studies, I use the Cultural Linguistics Research Methods, analysised the Cultural connotations with embedding in the Zhuang's cultural identity words, proverbs, folk songs, myths, folk tales, etc.We can be found: the Zhuang's concept of farming culture mainly reflected the Zhuang's behavior paradigms and moral dimension for Dealing with people and the natural world, the human world, the Gods world. In the Zhuang people's view, land is given by the Gods. People should treasure the land, treat the nature, and protect the nature. In the human life, human beings should be based on filial piety as a fundamental moral education , be diligent as the basis of life, and had kindness for a man's criteria. In religion, Zhuang believe that all creatures have a soul. They respect their ancestors, and worship the Gods. This concept reflects the Zhuang's inherently philosophy ideas of"Nature and human as one"and,"In concordance with Bio and human", then it also reflects"aioi blending"of Zhuang's openness. Today, in the materialistic society, the human natural environment is being deteriorated. There are great significances for excavating, researching, and carrying forward the fine traditional culture of the Zhuang concept .
