Continuity Research Of The Donghua Basic Block

Through many years' accumulation and refining, the Donghua basic block, based on scientific research and the theory of basic block, according to Chinese female body shape was established in 1998. And after 10-year's, the amendment of Donghua basic block which made by the changes of the human body reflect the current characteristics of human body exactly.But the clothing prototype's suitable performance is the key factor not only affects the development of the apparel industry but also decides the promotion of clothing market. With the developing of the science technology and society's progress, on the one hand, the developed degree of clothing industry will enhanceand the universal degree of useing the basic block to design the clothing also in the enhancement. On the other hand, the basic block could be used more simple is necessary in the clothing industry's fast development in order to increase the working efficiency. The continuous research of Donghua basic block is proposed based on the amendment and the necessary of be used more simple.This research based on both theory and practice. It includes five parts in detail as follows:1. Analysis of Donghua basic block theory and the reasons for continued research. The main analysis the basic consist theory and the using of the existing Donghua basic block pe is not easy. Suming up the theory and practice, conclude that the continuity research of the Donghua basic block is necessary for the actual production.2. Using 3D scanner TC2 to measure the 151 unmarried women, extract the bust,waist and the hip circumference and the cross-section curve by the software, then recording the gap value of various parts.Through the mathematical data analysis by the use of SPSS statistical software, make the conclusion about the characteristics for the young female body shape.3. Based on the results of data analysis about the human body, make the amendment on the dummy which match the Donghua basic block.Then expand the dummy to two other sizes-Y and B.4. Make the expansion on Donghua basic block with plus the darts on the waist line in order to not only fit the body above the bust line but also fit the body between the bust line and the waist line. Then make the fitting tests of sample garment, collect the experimental datas; statistical analyses by the SPSS statistical software. Summarizes the allocation of darts proportion rule based on the data analysis' results, the development structure of donghua basic block was established.5. Through the fitting testing on the new three dummies, demonstrate the overall effect is good by subjective evaluation methods; based on the darts proportion rule make the structure as long as the normal garment, make the fitting test on the right body shape,the results certificate the development donghua basic block could be used for the garment more easily then before.Based on the experimental data, the test result, the Donghua basic block was developped in this research. The developed the Donghua basic block actually not only reflect the current human body characteristics above the bust line but also reflect the body characteristics between the bust line and the hip line, and could be used in the garment structure more easily then before. The amended and the expanded dummies could be compatible with the Donghua basic block, which helps to perfect Donghua basic block theory system.
