This article focus on the mental health of junior middle school students, conducts an inquiry on their mental health and sense of community level, and also has an argumentation on the correlation between mental health and sense of community. Through the " junior middle school students mental health questionnaire", "Classroom and School Community questionnaire " and the self edited"junior middle school students fundamental state questionnaire",there are 430 junior high school students being investigated, and 415 valid questionnaires are eventually taken back. Input the encoded data into SPSS16.0 and have an analysis process, after a careful analysis and discussion, conclusions as follows are found eventually:1.Girls get higher marks than boys on the overall level of mental health, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, paranoia, hostility, nervous and hypersensitive interpersonal relationship, depression, anxiety and unbalanced mentality, there is significant difference between them on these factors, at the same time there are no significant difference on the other factors .2.The first grade and second grade have a significant difference on the overall level of mental health, but the first grade and third grade as well as the second grade and the third grade have not. In relation to factors score: the second grade has a higher study stress than first and second grade, the first and third grade have no significant difference on this;the first gets a lower marks than the second grade on malajustment, unbalanced mood and mentality, the difference is significant while the first grade and third grade as well as the second grade and the third grade have no significant difference on maladjustment.3. Students in single-parent families are at a disadvantage on the overall level of mental health, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, depression, anxiety, study stress, maladjustment relative to students in two-parent families.4. There is a significant difference between whiz kids and inferior students as well as average students and inferior students on the overall level of mental health, depression and study stress, but whiz kids and average students have no significant difference. Average students are at a disadvantage on paranoia, maladjustment and unbalanced mentality to inferior students, whiz kids have significant difference with average students and inferior students.5. The first grade has a significant difference with the second grade on the overall level of the sense of community, total score of classroom community and school community; the first grade has a significant difference with the second and third grade on classroom and school learning community; the second grade has a significant difference with the third grade on school society community.6. Students in single-parent families are at a disadvantage on the overall level of the sense of community, classroom social community, total score of classroom and school community relative to students in two-parent families.7. There is a significant difference between whiz kids and inferior students as well as whiz kids and inferior students on the overall level of the sense of community, classroom and school learning community.And there is a significant difference between whiz kids and inferior students as well as average students and inferior students on school community.8. There is a significant difference between the defferent groups of sense of community on the level of mental health.9.There is a significant negative correlation between students' mental health and there sense of community.10. To some extent, the overall level of the sense of community and classroom and school learning community could be used to predict the mental health of junior middle school students.In accordance with the above conclusions,a few educational suggestions are put forward to improve their sense of community to lead to better mental health of junior middle school students.
