Coping style, formed by interaction of individual's stabilized and situational factors, is the generalization of cognitive and behavioral means during one's habitual coping situation. Being a variable medium, the coping style has a strong influence on mental health of individual.With the aid of testing method, questionnaires and auxiliary interview,etc., the correlation between coping style and mental health among all 665 MCJMSS has been investigated. Conclusions are listed as follows:l.In comparison, nationality difference shows little influence on the coping style like help seeking, fantasy, withdrawal, and tolerance, however, differences are found in problem-solving and feeling ventilation. Chinese ones are apt to feeling ventilation while Mongolian ones to problem-solving.2.As for independent of nationality and gender, there is no evident difference which exists in coping style among all the MCJMSS, except that the girls prefer to feeling ventilation.3.Different grades of the MCJMSS influences the adoption and conduction of coping style. The higher the grade, the less of problem-solving, help seeking or feel ventilation are adopted. The adoption of withdrawal and fantasy rises and falls. It rises from Junior 1 to Junior 2, while falls from Grade 2 to Grade 3.4.Both cross-situation consistency and inconsistency are found in the adoption and conduction of coping style among MCJMSS. The consistency in problem-solving, help-seeking and tolerance is observed while reverse in withdrawal, feeling ventilation and fantasy. The MCJMSS more tend toadopt the coping style like withdrawal, feeling ventilation and fantasy in interpersonal situation than in test situation.5.The problem-solving, help-seeking, feeling ventilation, fantasy and tolerance are related to their mental health greatly. Otherwise, the nationality influence on the correlation between coping style and mental health has been demonstrated.6.The adoption of Coping style among MCJMSS, in variant healthiness condition, depends on their nationality, gender, grade and situation.7.To some extent, the problem-solving, fantasy, feeling ventilation and tolerance could be used to predict the mental health of MCJMSS. The Problem solving benefits to mental health, while fantasy, feeling ventilation and tolerance don't.In accordance with the above conclusions, a few educational suggestions are put forward to supposedly help the coping style education of MCJMSS in nationality areas.
