Experiment is the real operation about the abstract knowledge theory. In experimental learning activities, learners'comprehensive use of wisdom skill and operation skill and experiment content knowledge of tacit knowledge outside. Meta-cognitive ability is to own the thinking process of learners' perceptions, observation and control and adjust behavior ability; meta-cognitive ability is the important factors affect learning effect. The experiment in complex learning activity can pass the virtual reality technology development meta-cognitive skills.On virtual experiment characteristics and existing problems on the basis of analysis, combining domestic and foreign research review of meta-cognition of meta-cognitive concept is defined, and analyzes the essence of meta-cognitive three elements and meta-cognition with learners'meta-cognitive ability, the relationship between. Situated cognition theory, by the migration theory, meta-cognitive theory as the theoretical basis for virtual experiment, puts forward the learner meta-cognitive ability task, principle, design strategy, the design process and with reference to train the learners' meta-cognitive ability of virtual experiment design flow constructs promote learners meta-cognitive ability of virtual experiment system model, so as to virtual experiment system through the function module synergy help learners, promote scientific study.The engineering in Jilin university of virtual experiment of graphics for case study, experimental analysis, elaborated specifically engineering graphics in virtual experiment each part to help learners accumulation meta-cognitive knowledge, rich learners' meta-cognition emotional experience, improve learners' self mete-cognitive monitoring, and promote the learners' meta-cognitive ability, etc. Finally the six dimensions according to meta-cognition questionnaire, through the qualitative analysis of the questionnaire, the author put forward some experiments still need to strengthen and improve part of more effective promote learners meta-cognitive ability.
