On ZhuXiang's Poetry

In the Chinese modern history of poetry,Zhu xiang is a poet who made great contribution to the modern chinese free verse.He advocated and practiced the creation of new poetry,tried to perfect artistic technic and enlarged subject-matter area.He added the style of free verse in practice and established aesthetical standard of it.His short and flexible life not only shapes his individualitics but affects his creation of poem. With unique characteristic,rich imagination, unit of form and content, various subject matter and personal creation on art form,he practicedly enrichs the creation form of chinese new poetry with other poets of new moon poetry. On the basis of the reference of foreign culture,he pursued nationalization,formalization and beauty of art,which made free verse become a mature style of verse in a short time. His talents,passion and deep love to poetry made him achieve great efforts in poetry.From the rsearch to all his life,his poetry works and thoughts, the increasing embedding to Zhuxiang's rearch can be seen.The poet forgotten and misunderstood has attracted people's attention and gotten just appraise.This paper has found that he regarded the creation of new poetry possessing chinese style as his longlife ideal and responsibility by inquiring the close link of his life experience to the performance of his poetry creation and poetic thought. The hardships of his life urged him to pursue the happiness from sufferings, to quest the essence of life from death,to express his dreams that are very different from his real life via poetry, to practice his ideas of new poetic creation,which reflect a kind of spiritual value attaching importance to the nature and quality of life.His feelings to his hometown and the country was integrated into his poetry and he created unique new poetry with creative spirits,gentleman's dreams,,commons' awareness,traditional subject matter and in the form of combining Chinese and western culture.He contributed great efforts for the inheritance and the developments of China's poetry.Through the resarch to Zhuxiang's works and combinig historical background, the establishing contributions to new style of verse can be found. His national awareness and realization to the nature of poetry made his creation unique. He promoted the developments of new poetry with serious,careful and clinging attitude. He made a beneficial attempt in the areas of poetry form,the creation of intent and artistic conception, and with respect to adding new style of verse.His every attempt was on the basis of disciplinary, which is the result of the reference and integration of Chinese and foreign poetry, and it is the inheritance and innovation of chinese poetry.Both of them are based on his clinging love to new poetry and the strong national consciousness of the country.
